Why We Built This Site
Ohio court access is local. A Licking County case docket may be held by the Licking County Court of Common Pleas, Licking County Municipal Court, Probate-Juvenile Court, or a Mayor’s Court, depending on the case and venue. The Common Pleas Clerk’s remote service includes available General Division and Domestic Relations dockets and pleadings, plus Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals matters, but it is not an all-courts database. The site gathers the official contact details, search routes, local case-record distinctions, and request basics needed to start with the right custodian.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to an Ohio court, clerk, or state agency. There are clear limits to what the site can provide:
- It cannot obtain an official docket sheet or case file.
- It cannot set, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing.
- It cannot remove, seal, or amend a case record.
- It cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or court document.
- It cannot provide legal advice about a specific matter.
- It cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, or court setting remains current.
Only the clerk or court that holds the file can provide an official or certified copy. The Common Pleas Clerk, Municipal Clerk, Probate-Juvenile Court, and Mayor’s Court clerks each control records within their own jurisdiction.
